Autogram
Content inventories, audits & modeling to reduce risk during CMS replatforming projects
Overview
Autogram are the experts in creating systems that scale. As a team, we have unparalleled expertise in helping enterprise organizations successfully navigate complex digital challenges, including replatforming a content management system, rearchitecting a website as part of a redesign, or operationalizing a design system.
Our three partners, Jeff Eaton, Ethan Marcotte, and Karen McGrane, each have more than 20 years of experience working on large-scale web projects. As Autogram, our combined forces offer our clients valuable insights gained from hundreds of different redesign and replatforming initiatives.
Past clients include Charles Schwab, Target, IBM, Tableau, and John Deere.
Services
Autogram offers workshops and consulting services, and an engagement with us can be as short as one day or may span multiple projects over the course of several months.
Our hybrid in-person and remote workshops can be planned for one or two days. Fully remote workshops are conducted as half-day sessions over the course of a week or month.
Consulting projects are planned by the week and a typical engagement for us takes about 12 weeks. Depending on how we're contracted, we can provide a fixed-price scope for the engagement or a weekly rate. We expect the majority of our consulting work will be conducted remotely.
Our ideal project
Our ideal client has signed a contract with Sanity to replatform their existing content. This client has a complex ecosystem of websites, with thousands of pages across multiple domains published using a variety of content management systems.
In order to make the most of Sanity's capabilities, this client wants a partner to help develop a content strategy and information architecture. Autogram delivers an in-depth content audit and content inventory, which will provide accuracy during project scoping and reduce risk during migration. We deliver content models or schemas with overall architecture and field-level details tailored to Sanityʼs capabilities and vocabulary. We also advise on roles and workflow definition, design systems and component definition, and information architecture.
